Mabel Katz is an internationally acclaimed speaker, seminar leader and consultant. She has applied her knowledge, insights, experience, and skills to assisting businesses and individuals in becoming more productive, effective and prosperous.
In her native country of Argentina, Mabel became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). She immigrated to the United States in 1983 where she received accreditation as a business accountant. She worked as a senior tax accountant for over twenty years in California, and, as an Enrolled Agent (EA), represented clients before the Internal Revenue Service.
In 1997 Mabel started her own company, Your Business, Inc., a step that not only enhanced her own success but also increased her ability to work more directly with others. Her company had prospered by helping established businesses expand and grow as well as assisting fledging entrepreneurs plan and execute financial and tax programs and systems.
As an adjunct professor and guest speaker in the Pepperdine Business Certificate Program, Mabel was part of a team of industry experts teaching an eight-week course on Strategic Planning and Implementation. Her curriculum focus was in the area of accounting and taxes for small businesses.
Throughout her career Mabel has been able to effectively integrate and apply a number of innate resources including exceptional organizational skills, an aptitude for working simultaneously on multiple projects with a diversity of players, contract negotiation, and a keen perception of the realities of the business environment. She brings all of these into play as she presents her seminars, or motivates audiences large and small. Mabel has stood on a foundation of personal accomplishment as a woman in the male-dominated world of accounting and finance, her advice was always based on solid, gained-in-the-trenches experience.
Her just released book, “The Easiest Way to Understanding Ho’oponopono” The Clearest Answers to Your Most Frequently Asked Questions - Volume I, in Digital eBooklet & Audio Set, gives the clearest understanding yet through the answers of the most frequently asked questions from around the world. As Mabel traveled the world presenting Ho’oponopono, she realized everyone had the same questions and concerns. In this new book she gives the answers to understanding the techniques and principles of Ho’oponopono as a way of life.
Mabel co-wrote “Inspiration to Realization,” with 40 other successful women, on proven strategies for business, personal, financial and spiritual fulfillment. In her chapter Mabel gives a few simple principles and steps to look at life differently and develop a new “true” self image, which in turn, translates into optimal success.
Mabel is also one of the contributing authors of "Thank God I..." Vol. 1& 2. In these two books, discover how ordinary people overcame life's greatest challenges and lived to become thankful for them. "Thank God I..." is said to be the most significant contribution to the spirit of humanity in centuries. Mabel’s chapter "Thank God I Left My Kids," is about the most difficult decision of her life, leaving her kids to find herself. So many stories of what seem like devastating calamities are described as blessings, things to be thankful for. Mabel tells how her decision to leave her kids became one of the ultimate blessings for not only her, but for her kids.
She is internationally acclaimed as one of the foremost authorities on the art of Ho’oponopono. With her unmistakable simplistic style and grace, Mabel has been able to transcend many languages. Her book “The Easiest Way” has been translated and published in Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Swedish, German, French and Hebrew.
A star in LA's Latino community, hosting her popular radio and television programs, Despertar (Awakening), where she empowered Latino’s by giving them the tools to start or grow a business, have fulfilled relationships and find financial success. Her last television endeavor “The Mabel Katz Show” was a very unique and one of a kind Spanish show. The show was a combination of Oprah, Suze Orman, The Apprentice, and Rachael Ray all in one.
Ten years after starting her own business, Mabel decided to give up her successful accounting firm and talk show aspirations to follow her passions. She is now on a journey that is taking her around the world as a speaker, inspiring many different cultures and languages. Her other passion and by popular demand has Mabel embarking on four new books, all of which will take her audience up a notch though the art of Ho’oponopono.
As a result of her personal and business accomplishments and her generosity of spirit, Mabel has received recognition on the local, national and international level. Since 2005 she has been acknowledged Business Woman of the Year by the LA Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and received the Sol Azteca Award and the prestigious Latin Business Association's Members Choice Award. In 2006, she was one of only nine women nationwide to receive the coveted Anna Maria Arias Memorial Business Fund Award.
