(December 2005 – Los Angeles, CA) - "The Easiest Way", a book written by Mabel Katz, has made its way into the Spanish- and English-speaking markets. As a Latina herself, Katz wanted to primarily introduce other Latinos to the spiritual principles in her book. “The Spanish version reaches a largely untapped market for spiritual books," says Katz. The English version, however, has also attracted plenty of admiration.

"The book is an interesting read with much food for thought and provides refreshing options for solving problems and reducing the stresses in everyday life," says Tony Rose, CPA "It answers questions about life’s expectations and how problems become problems, and the easiest and quickest way to deal with such issues as faith, money, fear and love."

Katz was inspired her to write the book based on her own struggles in a life of many twists and turns. She was successful Argentinean CPA who immigrated to the United States. After years of distinguishing herself professionally in Los Angeles, first as an accountant for several firms and later as an agent specializing in tax matters, she deviated from traditional expectations and answered an inner calling to make important changes in her life. She left the financial security of an established career to start her own company, Your Business, Inc., which helps others create successful companies.

At the same time, Katz was in the process of an identity search that would change the course of her life. After trying almost all the self-help methods available, she found the ancient Hawaiian art of Ho’oponopono (ho-oh-po-no-po-no) and its techniques for resolving problems. This art soon became a catalyst for her latent talents. Katz became an event coordinator for the California Association for Bilingual Education. She also became an Ethnic Business Diversity Trainer through Merrill Lynch and Pace Development Center in Los Angeles. Before long, Mabel started sponsoring seminars, and now gives classes all over the world helping people to discover their true identity through Ho’oponopono.

Centering herself through spiritual writings

Thursday, April 28, 2005 - Mabel Katz of Woodland Hills claims she's not a writer, but there are a few things she feels passionate about and which prompt her to put words on a page.

The author of "The Easiest Way," a book detailing techniques to help people find their spiritual centers, will be among the Chicano writers participating in an ethnic literacy series at the Diamond Bar library.

Katz, Rene Colato Lainez and Jane Medina will talk and sign their books at 6:30 p.m. Thursday for the library's celebration of Cinco de Mayo. It is the second installment of the ethnic authors series. The first program involved African-American writers and commemorated Black History Month.
